A French/mediterranean restaurant is on street level and on the level below, a jazz bar! It's dark and loungy, but compared to the restaurant part above, you would have never guess such a place existed below!

Vesuvio Caffe (picture courtesy of: www.vesuvio.com) A Beatnik bar with lots of personality! This is where Jack Karouac and other Beat poets used to frequent!! Order a couple of beers from what they have on tap or a strong mixed drink and you're ready to have a great evening! There is a small upstairs area with tables and chairs. A very artsy place (It was a Beat poets' hangout after all).

Nightlife Spot: Pat O' Shea's Mad Hatter
Great pub with a good selection of beers on tap. Fairly decent selection of scotch. A casual, fun atmosphere where they play live music from local bands on any given weekend night. People are not pretentious and just out to have a great time! Everyone here is friendly, not just the employees, but the patrons as well!
