Back in the early to mid-90s, Palm Springs was the "party haven" for college students during spring break. After a lot of police crack-downs, it's not quite the "party" place it used to be. Since then, Palm Springs has been built up to cater more towards the high-end retirees, golf fanatics, spa indulgers, hikers, and rock climbers. There's plenty to do for everyone! |

Next time, take the tram to the top and hike to the top of San Jacintosomething like 10-12 miles and I always found it a super tonic for the LA air. The views include most of SoCal on a clear day. Nice travellogue ... for a Bruin;-] | pchamlis Thu May 22, 2003 17:56 UTC
