Mi Casa Es Su Casa!

A picture perfect place to live! :)
Manhattan Beach is the epitome of a true California beach town. Founded in 1912, this upscale community has one of the lowest crime rates in the country. The northern-most town out of the area commonly known as South Bay, Manhattan Beach is a haven for both surfers and volleyball players worldwide! Of course, this sun-drenched town is what I call home! :) Manhattan Beach (MB) is centrally located from pretty much anything in L.A. (everything is 30mins without traffic), but far away enough to have a peaceful tranquility about it. MB is the ultimate vacation spot and I am so lucky to be living in such a wonderful place! :) I am known as a walking Zagat guide....if you have any questions regarding restaurants, whether in Manhattan Beach or any of my other travel locations, please feel free to email me. :)

Footprints in the sand...

Take a stroll on the beach and watch your feet make their mark in the soft sand....at least until the waves wash it away...

Cruisin on the Strand...

Grab a beach cruiser and ride along the Strand, taking in the beach on one side and multi-million dollar mansions on the other...

Pros:"The beach and the people. The low crime rate and the fact that it's a sleepy beach town."
Cons:"The unaffordable housing!"
In A Nutshell:"Beautiful, laid-back beach town that has a small town feel. Great community!"

Thanks for the tips. If you had to pick the best beach in the area to hang out and spend the day what would it be? Thanks

Angela - thanks for sharing your Manhattan Bch tips and photos. Much has changed since it was my stomping grounds. Glad to hear the Kettle is still going - that was our middle of the night munchie spot.
