A place where people can resort back to silly, college frat-boy or sorority girl behavior. Rather inexpensive drinks. Great happy hour from 4-7pm on the weekdays. $1 draft beer. Cheap!!!!

Dress Code: Beach casual during the day - flip flops, shorts, etc...Some people change into jeans and a nicer shirt at night. Anything goes.

Suzy's Bar & Grill: Hole in the wall type of a bar

Located in a strip mall, you would never have had any idea this place existed! But, this hole in the wall caters to a local crowd with Karaoke nights and live music on other nights. This place feels likea biker bar.

Although in this picture, we are dressed in Hawaiian gear, the normal attire here is much dressier. This is the place to be for dancing here in Hermosa on any given weekend night. They also have good food - make reservations for dinner and you won't have to wait in line for the dancing part. Make sure you do it before 9pm though.

Sharkeez: Sharkeez

This place is ALWAYS packed! A big hit with the singles scene. Sharkeez has good music and dancing in the weekend evenings. A very casual place with sawdust on the floor practically! It is essentially a sports bar that gets juiced up in the evenings. If you're looking for a meat market, this is it. It is totally different during the day though with mostly just sports fanatics.

Dress Code: Beach casual. Pretty much anything goes. Lots of guys will wear Hawaiian shirts and khaki shorts and flip flops during the summer. Some people do dress to impress in the evenings though.
