How to get to Caramoan

Going to Caramoan is quite exciting. You also need a lot of energy to get to the place. For first-timers and adventurers like us, we were a bit eager to reach the place because it is known for its beauty and wonderful beaches.

Caramoan is located at eastern Camarines Sur. You can take a bus trip from Manila to Naga City (they have daily trips at Cubao and Pasay bus terminals) or you can either take a 30-minute plane ride to Naga airport. Air Philippines and Philippine Airlines have their daily trips too.

From Naga town proper, you can take a jeep ride to Sabang port. The ride costs P60, which is about 2 hours or depending on the driver. There is another way which will directly bring you to Caramoan but the trip will last for 7 long hours. It is a jeepney ride, but we suggest you just take the boat ride since it is cheaper, fun and short.

From Sabang port, their are katig or boats (which are bigger than the normal boats you see at the ocean). Trip starts at 6:30 am, 8:00 am and 9:00 am for the last trip. The ride will approximately last for another 2 hours. The boat ride costs P110 each.

When you reach the caramoan port, tricycles are everywhere. You ride one and ask the driver to take you to the bayan, ride will take 15 mins or so.
