Morocco is a country in North West Africa.
It is bordered on the east by Algeria and to the south by Western Sahara, which is occupied by Morocco.
The official language is Arabic but also French is wildly spoken.
The Government is a Monarchy with Mohammed VI the ruler.
The currency is dirham, which can only be exchanged in Morocco.
The capital city is Rabat.
We visited Marrakech in January 2010. The weather was warm throughout the day but quite cold in the evening.
We travelled up into the Atlas Mountains to the Berber villages. It was quite warm in the mountains even though there was snow.
