By the 10th century because of its position at the cross roads of Europe, it had developed into a thriving town with a large market place and two citadels.

Sounds like you enjoyed your visit to Prague. I was also in Prague in April (but this year) and had a great time there. I didn't go to the Strahov monastery, though. Maybe I should have read your tip beforehand.
