"Fuerteventura for a day" Isla de Fuerteventura by clueless83

I went to Fuerteventura for a day trip when I stayed in Lanzarote. We took the boat over from Playa Blanca to Corralejo. I wouldn't bother visiting Corralejo again but I would like to see the famous sand dunes of Fuerteventura.

Corralejo was worse than some of the tacky British seaside resorts I've visited!

Highlights -

* Seeing the flying fish jumping out of the sea while sitting on the ferry on the way to the island

* Eating ice cream

* Seeing the sandsculptures on the beach

* Hearing a bird wolf-whistle at a bloke's man boobs (aka moobs)

Lowlights -

* Generally everything else, but special mention to the train tour

• Pros:Flying fish and ice cream
• Cons:Corralejo
• In a nutshell:Avoid Corralejo and you might have a nice time!
