I couldn't have gone all the way to Egypt without paying the pyramids and the sphinx a little visit and so we booked a day trip to Cairo from Sharm el Sheikh.
Our trip was booked through First Choice/Thomson and began with a 4am pick up to the airport. The trip included visits to:
*Mohammed Ali's mosque
*A papyrus shop
*The pyramids
*The sphinx
*Lunch at TGI Friday on the Nile
*The Egyptian museum
Exhausting but well worth it!
