We touched down in Sydney just after sunrise, after a tiring flight from Thailand. The first thing I did when I stepped out of the airport and onto the street was to take a deep lung-full of fresh air after spending the last couple of days breathing in polluted Bangkok air. It was a relief to be on Australian soil. |
| | Sydney is unlike any other city I have been to but at the same time it felt familiar to me. I can see why so many people choose to emigrate to here, Sydney is a city but when you're soaking up the sun in Darling Harbour or taking a stroll around the Chinese Gardens, its easy to forget the hectic world outside. The people are friendly, as is the atmosphere, a breath of fresh air indeed. |
