Unfortunately, I'm a damn yankee. Made my way south from Chicagoland in 1995. I ended up in the Boro by choice and it has turned out to be one of the best decisions that I've ever made. The city of Murfreesboro is a wonderful place to call home. The city continues to grow at a rapid pace while the quality of life remains unchanged. Located strategically in the SE allows day trips to east Tennessee (University of Tennessee, Smoky Mountains, Rugby), Chattanooga, Atlanta, Memphis, Huntsville, Birmingham, and some of the best state parks. Being a short distance from Nashville allows for the daily partaking of excellent entertainment, music, sports and dinning opportunities.
