My other half used to visit Criccieth every summer and all his family go misty-eyed talking about Cadwaladers ice-cream. He remembers the cafe as a tiny shop where there was only one flavour on offer,vanilla, and it was made out back. Now you can sit in the cafe with a good panorama of the sea (i.e escape the rain!) and enjoy a myriad of flavours but none quite as rich and creamy as those halcyon days ;-)
