Plaza de Los Lobos - Granada

Plaza de Los Lobos

granadainfo.com: Rent an apartment

This website offers some information on the city but it's main function is to book apartments from mainly Granadino families (rather than holiday agencies.) I have used it several times for friends and family. The apartment I rented several times was... Cristina's in Realejo (modern top floor one bedroom). Another I used was overlooking the river in the Paseo de Los Tristes. Most are in the Albaicin and central locations. The booking system is very easy to use and prices vary but it is often more economical and comfortable option for 2 or more travellers than hotels or hostals.

Unique Qualities: Great if you prefer a bit of self-catering and privacy.

Address: all central

La Ninfa-comfy and quaint! - Granada
Hostal La Ninfa: La Ninfa-comfy and quaint! Hostal La Ninfa Review
Show Prices

This is a mid priced, small hostal, refurbed to a high standard in the Realejo barrio (the old Jewish quarter).
My aunt and uncle stayed there a couple of nights when they came to visit me, my cousin's room was a little on the small side but theirs was good and the staff were friendly. The advantage is that's located in the corner of Realejo's main (almost traffic-free square), so is near the restaurants and bars...not far to go for your morning coffee or midday meal! These are family-orientated, not late opening bars, so the main noise you'll hear are the children in the play area!
The hostal is about 5 minutes walk from Plaza Nueva and is right at the bottom of the Alhambra hill, so there are plenty of panoramic views if you're prepared for a steep climb!.
One small issue...Realejo's old buildings are all being bought up and refurbed so maybe it's best to check with owners that there is no neighbouring buliding work going on!
WARNING...don't eat at the Ninfa restaurant in the plaza, I've heard reports that they food is bad and the staff are rude.
