My daughter, 5 year old granddaughter and I went to Paris last March. Although the weather hovered in the 40's and it was cloudy and drizzled a lot, we found a bright spot....not many tourists! Tuillerie Gardens was almost deserted, which gave us the feeling of having it almost to ourselves. My granddaughter got to ride the beautiful carousel all by herself. My pictures were more interesting because there weren't people "in the way". The museums were not crowded so we were able to take our time to enjoy. My favorite thing? I loved everything about Paris. I would recommend visiting the Musee Rodin and Picasso. Lovely small museums! And the Sacre Coeur? See for yourself the breathtaking view!
Fondest Memory: The best memory would be seeing Paris with my daughter and granddaughter. I was not prepared for how beautiful everything would be. The shops, the food, the language, the architecture. We did not go with a tour group. My daughter did our itinerary. We used the Metro except for one very rainy day. That's the way to see Paris! I long to return. |
