Singapore is a great stopover destination. Its airport is well set out and efficient and transport into the city by taxi is very reliable and cheap.
There is no shortage of 5 star hotels, shopping centres, bars and restaurants. Though not as reasonably priced as Hong Kong, Singapore is a nice, clean well thought out Asian city.
