Grandson is known to date back to 1100, and is thought to date back even further!

Probably what most people come here for, is to visit Grandson Castle.

I must agree with Trekki - that poor horse, but we eat horse-meat here as well - well, some of us do ;)

It was a chance to try it, and we both liked it. We don't eat it in Australia.

Too bad the castle was already closed by the time you arrived, but it looks great from the outside, just the same. Do you know the origin of the name Grandson? It can't be the English word grandson, I'm sure.

Oh my, that poor horse! But the meals look delicious! And what a creative way to put the bedsheets :-)

I assume that you travelled around by car because otherwise you probably would have visited all these small places :-)
