Where to park the Car?
Bit of trouble finding somewhere with a long time limit! Well, we found a Car parking Station, so our problem was solved!

Now it was time for us to explore and enjoy Lucerne!

We have exited the Car-park and have met our "virtual friend" who is coming for a "virtual walk" with us around Lucerne.
We have comfy shoes on, sunscreen, hat and a bottle of water, and most importantly, our Camera's with us!

I love those fresco covered buildings, Dee. Lucerne looks like the ideal base to explore Central Switzerland. Now I just have to open my wallet! :O

Ive yet to go to Switzerland. What stunning scenery!! You really did a nice job of leading us through a nicely written tour of Lucerne. I loved the frescoes on the sides of the houses, and the Jesuit church in particular looked just magnificent!. I have a feeling Ill be looking at your Swiss pages some more soon:)

Well, I must be the exception, as I have never been to Lucerne ;-) But now I can feel as if I have, by following your detailed route with you. I love all the frescoes in particular, and the views by the river - it does look like a very attractive town!

Oh how cute, more cows!! Did you also get one of these? It is fun to have followed Kate through Lucerne and now you. Marvellous painted houses! And I love that old pharmacy door. And the ladnscapes on your onward journey. But parking is... quite expensive!

I've enjoyed picking out some of your tips for our mid-April visit to Lucerne. We'll avoid the parking problem by taking the boat across the lake from our hotel- a 35 minute leisurely cruise. Really looking forward to it !!

I enjoyed tagging along on your virtual walk through Lucerne. I’ve been there, but never long enough for a proper visit. The only thing I would leave out would be the Stadtkeller, since I’m not a big fan of yodelling and cow bell ringing especially when I am trying to enjoy my meal.
