It received city rights in 1355.

It has 2 magnificent Churches, City walls, Gates & Tower.

The Marina is one of the largest in the Netherlands.

Located here is the Zuiderzeemuseum which I visited and this was excellent.

I had a great time here, and it was very well done.

The Town is interesting to walk around also.

What a great little town. I really must get back to the Netherlands some day. I'd especially love to hear the carillon at St Pancras.
