The area of Valtice and Lednice is known as the area of the Chateau's.

Since 1992, it has been listed as a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE AREA.

Valtice is located quite close to the Austrian border.

It is famous for it's Castle and for Viniculture.

We found many nice buildings, and I think we missed some in the area!

You took some great photos on this trip! Especially the one of the fountain was nice:) Love how one comes into these little towns and they are so clean and orderly. The chateau looks like it was lovely inside, even more with the manicured gardens

Nice photos and tips! Those must have been really important people, to have such an imposing colonnade dedicated to them. Or at least self-important.
