Las Vegas Hilton
The Las Vegas Hilton was a real let down.
Being "the Hilton" we thought it would be very nice. Our room was not properly clean, the arm chair was well worn to the stage it needed to be replaced. One thing that we really missed and had in cheaper Hotels, was the Tea & Coffee, the was NONE in the room. We love to get back and sit down and relax with one after a days outing. To buy a cup here was very expensive. No fridge.
Another problem was at the Luggage storage. I had received written confirmation from them previous to our trip, that we could store luggage here while we did a tour, as we would be spending more nights here at the end. The person in charge denied this, and got VERY NASTY. Silly me, didn't even think to bring the letter with me as I didn't expect any problem.
The Hotel is also not on the Strip, quite a walk. There is a monorail station there, but it becomes quite expensive using that every day.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE HILTON.
This person needed replacing, as did some of the furniture, in general, a refurbishing.

Ruby's Inn
RUBY's Inn is the closest accommodation to Bryce Canyon, and is quite busy, I guess because of this. We found the accommodation and breakfast to be quite o.k.
The souvenir shop here has lots of excellent, unique gifts. There were Indian arts & crafts, jewellery, pottery, and so much more! There was a general store too, and you can buy gas for the car. We stayed at the Inn, but I believe there is a campground here too.
Across the road are more shops to browse. The rock shop has fossils and petrified wood.
Horse rides through Red and Bryce canyon can be booked here, this is something that I really would like to do.

Sheraton Hotel
The Sheraton city hotel was located not too far from the city centre. The rooms were nice and included a Balcony from where we had a view of the Mountains. We had a non-smoking room which is always nice when you aren't a smoker.
We walked to the free city centre shuttle which took us into the city.
Breakfast was good too!

This Hotel was right in the city centre, close to all the shops.
You can choose between King & Queen rooms and Cedar Cabin rooms. They are airconditioned, have hairdryer's, coffee makers, fridge, iron and ironing board and more.
Just across the road was a great place for meals.
Accommodation was good.

Grant Village
This was O.K. accommodation, nothing special. The lodging complex includes 6 two-story buildings each containing 50 rooms. All rooms have private bathrooms. We found the walls to be thin, were woken up very early by just the neighbours talking normally.
Also located in the area are two restaurants with lake views (one full menu and one specializing in a pub-style menu including a selection of burgers, beef, bison, chicken and black bean). There is a lounge and a small gift store.
The accommodation was non-smoking. Internet hook-ups were not available.
In addition to Grant Village accommodation, you can also camp in this area of the park. I walked a few of the trails, one to the beautiful lake in the photo. The meal we had at the restaurant here was outstanding.
