Bourton on the Water - Bourton on the Water

Expect plenty of people in this village, as it is regularly voted one of the prettiest villages in England.
Bourton-on-the-Water was lovely to wander around admiring the many Cotswold houses and cottages, many of them three hundred years old, some dating back to Elizabethan times four hundred years ago.
There is plenty to see and do here, more touristy than some of the other lesser known Cotswold Village's.
By this I mean, more shop's selling souvenir's, more Cafe's and Restaurant's which were more expensive, and more entertainment, like the "Cotswold's in miniature" and "Birdland"

This didn't bother us, we still enjoyed the time we spent here!

Lovely village but a little too touristy for me. I was taken there once by Chris's wonderful English great-aunt (now no longer alive) so your page brought back some nice memories.
