Frederiksborg Castle @ Hillerod - Hillerød

HOME OF A STUNNING CASTLE!

We hadn't long started walking from the Train Station towards the Castle when it started to rain.

What a shame, but here in Denmark, it can rain at any time of the year.

Photo's aren't as good and I couldn't see the garden properly at the Castle, I was disappointed with this!

I did have a good look inside the fabulous Castle though!

This is the main reason for coming to Hillerod

Frederiksborg Castle

Hillerod is situated in the middle of North Sealand approx 40 Km from Copenhagen.

After seeing this Castle, you can catch the Train to HELSINGOR, and visit Kronborg Castle [Hamlet's castle], and then return to Copenhagen from there.

There is a lot more to see at the Palace than I have written about.

Make sure you leave plenty of time!

This palace rivals many of those in Europe for sure. Your trip here looks appealing to a visit by us one day
