    Tasmania seems quite different from other parts of Australia, or at least those I have visited. Some of your photos could have been taken in Yorkshire. No platypus there though!!

    Dee; another super travel from you. btw, how safe it is to hike in an average Australian forest (not waters)? e.g most of Ontario is considered safe, because we don't have threatening wildlife.
