When you say "Katherine, Australia" everybody immediately thinks of Katherine Gorge, and I guess, everybody that comes here, does the cruise. I am not doing a review on it, will only say that we enjoyed it.
Katherine is quite a large town with a population of about 10,000 people. Its located on the Stuart highway, 330kms from Darwin. Katherine has experienced a few floods in its time. There are lots of nice places to visit here and surrounding Katherine, its a good idea to make it your base for a while.

What a lovely park and page!
I just wish that when they named this town after me, they had got the spelling right.
I just had to have a look at a a place with one of my favourite names.. What a place. What a great little page!
