NOOSA & OTHER SUNSHINE COAST TOWNS.

NOOSA, is located north from Brisbane, at the top end of the Sunshine Coast. It's an expensive area, and is known as where the "Stars" have their holiday homes, or they come for a holiday.

Noosa National park is well worth going to, and doing one of the many walks, either inland or along the coastal edge. There are lookout points, a Blowhole and nice little protected coves for swimming.

If you feel like shopping or dining, Hasting's Street is well known for both of these activities, but, it is expensive!

As well as the beach, there is the Noosa River. For a different kind of holiday, you could hire a Houseboat for a week or weekend.

As NOOSA is probably the most well known of the Sunshine Coast towns, I have added Towns that are situated this end of the Sunshine coast on this page.

It isn't far to drive to see all the sights.

The Sunshine coast starts down south near Caboolture and runs up to
Rainbow Beach, with Gympie being on the very edge.

TOWNS INCLUDED UNDER THIS HEADING ARE

TIN CAN BAY........ Feed the wild Dolphins

And POMONA has its own page.

I have been to ALL THE MAJOR TOWNS ON THE SUNSHINE COAST, AND MANY OF THE SMALLER ONES MANY TIMES

I will keep updating this page.

Come, explore, stay, enjoy, this is a beautiful area, enjoyed by the Locals and Tourists, alike!!!

What a pity that VT has no "Sunshine Coast" listing. This is an interesting overview on the SC - hope there s more to come.
