"PICTURESQUE RATHDOWNEY" Rathdowney by balhannah

Rathdowney Travel Guide: 12 reviews and 30 photos

Rathdowney, a small town in a pretty setting, lies 96kms south of Brisbane and 32kms south of Beaudesert, in the Logan River Valley nestled at the base of the Great Dividing Range.

Rathdowney is linked to Stanthorpe and Tenterfield by the scenic highway drive through the mountains of the border ranges.

It's also within comfortable driving distance of the hinterland national parks and the Gold Coast.

You can also take the road through Boonah and the Fassifern Valley to Warwick and the Cunningham Highway, more stunning scenery.
