PAY A VISIT

Yandina is located just north of Nambour and 115km north of Brisbane.

This old Town has Antiques and collectibles shops, and as you walk the
streets, enjoy the early Queensland architecture along the main street.

If you are there on a Saturday, head to the markets for arts and crafts,
bric-a-brac, plants and local produce.

Flowers at Ginger factory

The WORLD'S LARGEST GINGER PROCESSING PLANT is located here, a chance to pay a visit and sample some ginger delights at the famous Ginger Factory.

Then walk across the road to the Nutworks to discover how macadamia nuts are processed.

The Yandina area has some magnificent gardens and nurseries, including
the renowned Fairhill Botanical Gardens and Native Plant Nursery, which I love! Even if you are not a gardener, it has a lovely cafe set in nice
surroundings, and some great gifts.

There are lots of lovely, scenic drives in the area, and beautiful views from Point Glorious, Mount Ninderry and Dunethin Rock.
Near the Wappa Dam, stargazers can explore the night sky at the Wappa
Falls Astronomical Observatory or Ninderry Manor Bed and Breakfast.

wow, the Ginger plant, WAPPA Dam, Falls, and the gardens are wonderful. Such lovely sights. Does the plant have a lovely scent? Have a great weekend Dee!
