Leaving Marmaris behind
Getting a Bus to Datca is quite easy.
Dolmus leave from the main Otogar. You can catch a Dolmus from Tansas to The Otogar - cost 1.5 t/l and then the Dolmus to Datca 9 t/l one way.
There is fantastic scenery on this journey.
Leaving Marmaris, there are great views to be had over the city, then there are magnificent ocean views over the Gulf of Gokova and Datca Gulf. Reflections make it extra pretty. Brilliant, yellow wildflowers were on the edges of the road.
The road winds and winds its way around the mountain side, passing little resort villages, and camping spots.
The Mountains are rather pretty too, a reddy brown, and interesting shapes, this was a lovely days outing!
