St-Yrieix-la-Perche is an old medieval town

The town of St-Yrieix-la-Perche, in Limousin in central France, is an historic and pretty market town.

Around the town are Limousin cattle grazing in the green countryside.

The Town is important for two things.......

A rare breed of Pig called the Black Bottomed Pig, or Cul Noir.

They like their Pig's so much, that I found these wooden cask pigs in a park!
