The recent tsunami may cause people to think twice about visiting this marvelous country unfortuneately.

That would be a mistake. Many parts of
the country were not affected and at this time the place needs more visitors not less.

Thailand is certainly one of the most beautiful countries in the world, and has much to offer the visitor in way of accomodations, cuisine, and sights to see.

Coming from New York with it's particular brand of "hospitality", I
found the Thai people to be a refreshing change.

Travelogues here cover Ayuthaya, Thailand's old capital with it's marvelous temples and Chiang-Mai in the northern part, as well as the legendary beaches of Krabi province. Even toxic Bangkok has
it's charm and great sights.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Friendly people, Exotic, Beautiful, Cheap, Cuisine
Cons:The air in Bangkok is extremely toxic

Hi I have been to Doi Inthanon and done the climb up the stairs to the 2 wats as well! very nice pages. It makes my pages seem inferior-obviously still need more work!
