Lusheng is a kind of music instrument,it is made of bamboo pipes.Lusheng is treated as a mother in Miao culture.It is not allowed to play Lusheng after rice planting season and before rice harvest time.Most of Lusheng festivals happen after the harvest month,therefore it becomes Miao(hmong) people's Thanks Giving Day.In this day,people come from different villages,they meet on one square and dance together,when some of them play the lusheng.They often fall on October,November,January,February and March.For more festival information,you can visit:www.toguizhou.com
