I've been part of a fantastic group-journey to this city in Finland.
We've done a lot of exiting things in a couple of days.
Starting at Friday, december 14.
We drove snowmobiles into the wilderness, beyond the Polar Circle.
We visited a husky farm and a reindeer farm.
One of the other highlights on this yourney were the Olympic Winter Games. Several cewl races had to be done, like:
> speeding on a snowmobile
> racing in an automobile on the river
> estafette 'langlaufen' with 2 persons on the skis
> catching a reindeer with a lasso
> estafette on snowboots through the snow
> etc.
A magnificent thing we did was having diner in an ice-restaurant. This restaurant was completely built out of ice cubes.
Inside there was a temperature of -1 degrees (Celcius).
So we ate with a hat (you can leave your hat on!) and gloves on. We were seated on reindeer skins.
You had to eat rather quick though, otherwise your food would cool down very soon!
I recommend to have a look at the travellogues which I've built.
Have fun!
