<font color="#000080"><b><div align="center">The Oriental Republic of Uruguay is a small country and does not offer anything as spectacular as neighbouring Argentina or Brazil. It is however a pleasant destination for a day-trip to get an impression of the country which is often called the Switzerland of South America. Montevideo is the capital city and is the place where basically everything in Uruguay is concentrated. The other famous placce in the country is the resort town of Punta del Este but it's still the capital that has an unproportionately large share of everything (including population - about half of all Uruguayans live in the capital). I was also told that in Montevideo there are 8 girls for 1 boy. So if you head out to the city's nightlife you have quite a chance to find a date. Maybe I should have spent some more time there and thereby make my South-American trip even more colourful...
