"Welcome to Magyarorszag" Hungary by azrael99

Welcome to the wonderful country called Magyarorszag. This was my first visit to mainland Europe and is very special to me. At times I felt more at home in Hungary than I do here in Scotland but I think the country has that effect on a lot of people.
Don't forget August 20th is St Stephen's Day - there is a huge fireworks display along the banks of the Danube in Budapest all set to classical music. Many other towns and cities have celebrations as well so it is well worth trying to visit over this date.
I always like hearing from people who have visited Hungary, especially if you visited any of the locations I did.
I hope you like my photographs and my little ramblings that go with them :-)
- Pros:My first visit to mainland Europe, wonderful buildings, friendly people.
- Cons:Very difficult language.
- In a nutshell:A wonderful place to visit - just try and visit more than just Budapest.
