"London: An unexpected travel" London by donpaul77

At 8AM on Monday morning, I get a text from my boss stating that he had lost his passport, and asking if I could take his place on a business trip to London. Hell yes!!! So I scramble to set up my trip, adding on a few days for vacation. My fiancee manages to find a cheap flight and joins me. On Tuesday, I'm in London :)

The first couple of days I was limited in my exploration to about two blocks, as I was on business. Once work was done it was time to play!

We were so lucky that the weather was decent. Sunny and warm most days. We walked a lot and visited some cool spots. Some of the highlights for me were:

Camden Market
Platform 9 3/4
A boat ride from the Tower of London to Greenwich
Asia de Cuba
Whitstable
British beer and fish and chips!

• Pros:great restaurants, people, history, beer
• Cons:expensive!!!
