This is the four-star place where I was lodged during my stay in San José. In general it was OK, but it has its pros and cons.
Pros
- lovely location (in Santa Ana, with mountains surrounding the place)
- delicious breakfast and meals, and the restaurant had also service to the room.
- gym
- swimmingpool
- free shuttle to take you to Escazú, the Multiplaza mall, the airport and other places (good way to save the taxi!)
- TV cable to watch before going to sleep
- nice crew, very helpful at ANYTHING
Cons
- the price did not include the business center, so the use of Internet would cost you US$7 just half an hour! Sorry but my pocket ached!
- the cost of calling was excesively high: I had to pay US$70 for a miserable 8-minute call to Lima! Advice: get a card for international calls or do it from any of the internet cabines at Avenida Central.
