Rio Scenarium-Bar Antiquário: Brazilian Music in the Middle of Lapa

Rio Scenarium is a place where, by paying around 12 reais just for entrance, you can enjoy a wonderful live music show, dance whenever you want and admire the decoration, very oldie, bohemian and cultural at the same time. Plus, you can enjoy a caipirinha and a few snacks to go through the night (cheap and nice taste). The shows changes all weeks (you can check the list of shows in their website), but all of them mostly feature Brazilian tunes like samba or forro. When we were there there was this French group playing forro, and all the people were dancing till the group left. Great live party!! Really recommendable.

Dress Code: All of us were partially sport, partially formal. Just go comfortable to enjoy the time :)

O Ponto G do Samba: Yet Another Music Place in Lapa

What a name for a live music spot, eh??
This little place offers almost and intimate environment for no more than 25 people to enjoy a live show of samba music from 10 pm. My friends from the course and I went to celebrate the birthday of one of us, and it was great: dancing all night!! After the presentation of the group, we asked permission to use their instruments for the picture.... Food in here was also nice and cheap.
