WE STAYED ONE NIGHT ON THE DRIVE UP THE PENINSULA AND LIKED IT SO MUCH WE STAYED AGAIN ON THE DRIVE BACK HOME.
They have Double, Queen and even a 'Junior King Suite', with varying prices. Both times, we stayed in the Jr. King Suite. The room was nicely decorated (unusual for the area), with a wonderful bed with made-to-order bed covers and matching towels.
Very comfortable and a nice-sized room, as well as a small sitting room with large sofa and additional TV. Good size bathroom, nicely tiled.
Best of all, it had an air-conditioner that also produces HEAT, and as it was really cold when we were there, it was a great find!! I know of no other small motels in any part of the Baja Peninsula with heating.
In the reception area, they provided coffee, computers, and lots of whale-watching info and tours.
They also accepted several credit cards and many places do not.
Unique Qualities: Having either air cooling or heating as needed is a plus.
Secure parking.
During whale-watching season, (Jan-Mar) I would strongly advise having reservations, as the area gets booked out early with groups.
