My Husband (middle), our Driver and Guide

Hot, Thirsty....... HUNGARY!!

We were fortunate to have the recommendation from a local woman of a reliable taxi driver for a day's hire out to the countryside of the HORTOBAGY and wine region of EGER.

As he did not speak much English, he was able to bring along his young son, who needed to practice HIS English, and we had a lovely, full day!

Nice small page on Eger - we have only discovered it recently as it takes long drive from us to that end of Hungary. I'd love to go to Hortobagy one day, the landscape there looks exciting.

some nice Hungarian pages happening here, Trish. Prague,Eger and Debrecen. On her recent trip to Europe, our daughter raved avout Prague. Good photos and nice intros
