Name of Shop: postoffices
There are different types of postoffices, some are big and some are small. They don't have all the same openinghours. You might also find a little postoffice inside a tabaccoshop or a magazineshop. Here you can also buy stamps for your postcards. Most postoffices sell boxes for your packets as well. The prices for the stamps depends on the weight, size and destination. There are different stamps available, with different pictures on it.
What To Buy: poststamps, boxes, envelops
What To Pay: In 2008: a postcard with a destination outside Eropa: 0,92 Euro.

Name of Shop: Souvenir Shops
A shop with a lot of choice in wooden shoes, we call it: "klompen".
What To Buy: Of course, no one of us wears wooden shoes (klompen) anymore, only a few farmers in the country. It's not comfotable to walk on wooden shoes, but easy to put on and to walk in the mud. The most are only made as a souvenir for tourist, like the following wich you can buy in this shop: * little wooden shoes made of ceramic, * real wooden shoes made of wood in all sizes, also for children, not painted or painted in blue; * real wooden shoes made of wood in all sizes, also for children, completely painted in different colors; * wooden shoes made of thick and soft fabrics, to use in the house or for fun. Also a nice place for a picture of wooden shoes! * And other touristic articles.
What To Pay: a lot of choice in different prices, from cheap to expensive.

Name of Shop: Flowermarket
A lot of tourist go to the Singel, where the flowermarket is. But also if you don't like tourist places, it is a beautifull small street at a canal. Crowded, but no cars or bicycles. Beautifull houses, nice little shops and of course, a lot of flowershops in tents at the canalside. If you are looking for little cheap souvenirs, you will find it here.
