Thistle Cove

From the park's entrance gate, we are overlooking the coastal plain towards the granite hills. The vegetation consists of heather and low shrubs. Round granite hills show up at the horizon. This is a very old, eroded landscape, it reminds me of the very North of Europe.

Round granite rocks form the coastline. The bays in between are accompanied by the whitest of white beaches. The hiking trails look inviting. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to go for a hike. Next time for sure!
