"Our Halfway Stop to Pittsburgh from Chicago" Archbold by riorich55

There were 2 plus things to do when we crossed the border from Indiana into Ohio going from the Indiana Tollroad to the Ohio Turnpike. The first was filling up the car with gas because the state taxes for gasoline were about 40 cents cheaper. The second was that Sue was able to get some shopping done about 3 miles off the main drag at the Candy Cane Christmas Shoppe.

And we figured since we didn't really get to the town of Archbold, since the Christmas Shoppe is actually 3 miles north of Archbold on US Route 20-A (this according to their brochure) we would venture those extra couple of miles to have a look.

At the stoplight in town we got behind this gentleman on his bicycle. In Chicago he probably would have been run over, but here in Archbold he was the King of the Road.
