During our one day visit to Versailles in October, 2008 there was an exhibit by Jeff Koons with a number of contemporary "balloon type" art which was both outside and inside the palace. As I start to build my Versailles pages you will see a number of these sculptures scattered throughout.
From the reviews I read people either loved or hated the exhibit. The most interesting review I read though said that Louis XIV would have enjoyed the vision that Jeff Koons had and after visiting the palace with all its grandeur I think I would agree. |

That's great you got to see Michael Koons exhibit at the Versaiilles - some people liked it, some did not...important thing is it got some reaction! Norman :) |
