Vienna is a beautiful, classical city for the ages. Architecturally, it melds the old with the new beautifully. You don't need to fret about getting around in Vienna. Firstly, it is easily maneuverable with many sites close to each other and secondly, their transportation system is top-notch. The cleanliness of Vienna is second to none as is it's transit system. The people are very friendly and easily willing to give you directions and to give advice on where to visit. You don't have to break your bank account in Vienna as most of it's sites and restaurants are not expensive. Constantinople may have suited the narrator of "The Third Man" better but it suited me just fine and so it should you.

    nice exterior picture of the albertina - we also loved the museum, always has great travelling shows.
