I had been to Istanbul way back in 1988, a very short stop but important as i came back convinced i would return.
Turkey offers the most beautiful blend of the east and the west. Coming from India, having lived in Europe and different parts of the world as a child, i was happy to appreciate the rich culture, history and traditions.
Would have liked to see more (as always!) but since we had 1 week we chose to visit Istanbul, Bodrum and Capadoccia. We had a wonderful time and am hoping to visit Turkey again sometime with my daughter. |
