Loved your Dundas page and photos! I lived there from about two weeks old to age 4. My late Dad was a master carpenter and managed the Lumber Yard. We lived just kiddy-corner from the yard across the Railroad tracks in the big two-story white frame house until his untimely death in 1937. He raised Chesapeake Bay Retrievers and he was quite the hunter-ducks, geese, pheasants and deer. The dogs loved the Cannon River. We had one milk cow. Mom baked our bread perfectly in a wood-fired cast iron stove/oven and our kittens were born beneath it. My first trip back was Sept. 2005. Are Faribo woolen blankets still made?
