Mgarr Harbor

- entering Malta's Gozo island harbor

Ferry

- ship crossing, between Malta and Gozo island. About a thirty minute voyage.

Tourist Bus

One option to tour Malta and Gozo is the Supreme Travel, Malta Sightseeing ‘Hop On, Hop Off’ tourist buses. Three routes: North Malta (17 stops), South Malta (16 stops) & Gozo (11 stops). The buses ran at one-hour intervals during my visit. Tickets cost about 15 € per day for each route and can be purchased from the driver. I picked up the Malta tours at the main Sliema bus stop & ferry landing, and the Gozo tour at Mgarr Harbour. These types of buses are not usually my favorite way to tour, but I was very happy with what they offered as Malta and Gozo’s tourist attractions are spread out and I would have spent more time getting to locations then viewing them. Each route is about three hours and there is a taped narrative in eight languages. It would help if you know the sites you want to visit ahead of time and if you can ‘Hop Off’ more than three or four times a day, you’re a better tourist than me.
