Also known as ‘Big Buddha’, symbolizes harmony of man with nature, and it is the world's tallest outdoor buddha statue.

*Another tourist attraction in Ngong Ping is the ‘Ngong Ping 360’, which is a 5.7 km / 3.5 mile cable car ride between Tung Chung and Ngong Ping, however during our visit, and to the relief of my friend, it was not operating because of safety problems.
