On your way to discovering the far North of New Zealand, make a stop at the Awanui Visitor Centre on the corner of SH 10. The friendly local staff will tell you about all the accommodation, activities and nooks and crannies that will make your stay a memorable one. Check out the local arts and crafts in store and also Te Ara Toi Gallery. We have maps, brochures and helpful tips that will make for a frustration free experience. Open 7 days from 9.30am to 5.30pm
Indigenous art by talented people is exhibited by Te Ara Toi Gallery. Housed inside the Awanui Vsitor Centre - this small gallery will allow you to view traditional and contempory art in a character setting.
Come in and have a look for something special. Arts and Crafts are made by locals and New Zealanders.
