Thonon-les-Bains, is located on the French shores of Lake Geneva, in the north of Haute-Savoie.
One can make a long walk following the promenade along the shore.
Thonon comes to an end at the Domaine de Ripaille, after which there is the nature reserve followed by the mouth of the Dranse river.

one of the best places in france , and in summer there is a little ship to Lausanne , I would almost agree to live there
